This is very true. Humans like order and patterns. We seek patterns even when they don’t exist, its just how our brains are wired.
This goes hand in hand with; don’t let goals get in the way of good training. We need to have goals to give direction to the training, but strictly following the most straightforward/obvious route to get to the end goal is often one that will prevent the spontaneous creativity and fun. Sometimes the most fruitful training comes from taking a scenic route through the training.
