Distraction Training – or Environmental Cue Training

Training without distractions should actually be; train away from the environment that triggers other behaviours (or unwanted behaviours). e.g. if you want to train stand on cue, remove the mat that has been used to teach sit, if you change to train lie down then move to another area of the training arena.
